Ontario Bike Summit

Join thought leaders, policy makers and advocates from across the province
as we work together to make Ontario more bicycle friendly.

2025 location and dates to be announced soon.

Canada’s largest cycling and active transportation conference

Each year, the Ontario Bike Summit (OBS) provides a unique opportunity for the host community to showcase its approach to cycling and active transportation design and implementation sharing lessons learned from the point of view of citizens as well as city staff and municipal leaders. In 2024, we gathered in Waterloo to explore the theme of Sustainability and Innovation through Cycling as we celebrated 15 years of progress since Waterloo hosted the first Ontario Bike Summit in 2009.

Wheels of Change & Norma Moores Awards

Each year, Share the Road recognizes the impactful work of advocates and professionals across Ontario with our Wheels of Change and Norma Moores Awards. These awards recognize leadership, innovation and relationship building in cycling. Award recipients are nominated by their peers and selected by Share the Road’s Board of Directors. The award winners are announced each year at the Ontario Bike Summit.
